Tri-Series events. Make sure you’re primed for events in Traralgon,
Geelong and Bendigo ahead of the Australian Indoor Rowing Championships

Become a Qualified
Mentor/Assessor this Season
 Beginning next month Rowing Victoria, in partnership with vicsport,
is hosting a series of sessions on coach mentoring and assessing.
They offer a great opportunity for professional development and will
ensure you’re able to assist developing coaches in your club or school to
complete their Level 2 Coaches’ Accreditation.

2010 Rowing Victoria
Luncheon
 Support Victorian rowers in the Australian Under 19 & Under 23
teams who will compete at the 2010 World Rowing Championships in the
Czech Republic and Belarus.
The Luncheon
will be held later this month – Sunday the 27th of June at
Mercantile Rowing Club, and we are elated to have Peter Antonie speaking
at the function. Peter is an Olympic Gold Medallist, World Champion,
Order of Australia Medallist and Thomas Keller Medallist.

National Rowing Census
To ensure that
Rowing Australia possesses an accurate measure and understanding of all
levels of rowing involvement across the entire country, President Colin
Smith has commissioned a “National Rowing Census” which will be collated
using an online survey tool.
Complete the following survey to help Rowing Australia maximise funding
levels, improve services and increase participation rates.

Young Rowers’ Camp and Tour

members may have seen the distribution by Peter Halliday outlining a
Young Rowers’ Camp and tour to Shanghai.
This initiative
has been organised by Peter and has no association with Rowing Victoria.
Rowing Victoria has not given Peter any distribution list to send out his
information.

Dinner for Power House Crew Headed
for Henley
 Congratulations to a Power House RC crew have gained
direct entry into the men’s coxed 4 event at Henley Royal Regatta.
Show your support by
sending them off at a fundraiser this Saturday the 12th of June 2010.
