The Program Manager – Rowing, works with Rowing Victoria (RV) and the Barwon Sports Academy (BSA) to provide a high quality level of support and experience for athletes that will enhance their development. Utilising the coaches available, the VIS network and other sports science and personal development opportunities, the Program Manager – Rowing works to ensure that the program benefits are compatible for elite junior athletes.The appointment is initially for a term of one year and is reviewed.

Appointed by the Board of Rowing Victoria, the Youth selection committee for all Victorian underage teams comprises a Chairman of Selectors and two Youth Selectors. Youth Selectors are usually appointed for a two year period with each election falling on alternate years.
