  IMPORTANT UPDATES - New Covid-19 Restrictions
 

IMPORTANT UPDATES  -  CIRCUIT BREAKER IMPACT ON ROWING

As per the Public Health orders issued earlier today, the State Government has instigated a Circuit Breaker Action from 11.59 pm tonight until 11.59 Wednesday 17 February.

The implications for the rowing community with this action are in line with the Stage 4 Restrictions we endured last year and are as follow:

There will be no competition;

The Head of the Schoolboys (Ballarat) and Firbank Regatta (Geelong) are cancelled.

Rowing Club Access

There is to be no access to rowing clubs under the current Action.

To elaborate; boats cannot be accessed from rowing clubs, gyms and social rooms cannot be accessed.

Exercise

Any exercise is limited to 2hrs and no more than 5km from home

State Team Selection Activities

The scheduled selection activities for the Masters and Youth State teams have been postponed. Specific communication will be sent to team nominees re the rescheduling of activities.

  February 20 Regatta Update
 

REGATTA UPDATES - FEBRUARY 20TH

Rowing Victoria are moving forward with plans to operate regattas next weekend.

Australian Henley Regatta Update:

As a result of the current uncertainty created by the Circuit Breaker Lockdown in Victoria, the closure of entries for the 2021 Australian Henley Regatta entries will be deferred until 9.00 am on Thursday February 18. As a result of this date change, late entries will not be permitted.

RV Junior Girls State Championship:

Due to the complexity of entry management, the entries for the 2021 will still be closing at 1.00pm on Monday February 15
