Current Guidelines for the safe return to rowing during COVID-19

We are all excited and hopeful that if we stay on track we will make a complete return to rowing in the near future. However, to ensure a safe and healthy return to Rowing for all, Rowing Victoria strongly encourages Clubs, athletes, and supporters to continue to adhere to the updated guidelines.

Australian Community Sport is in Crisis

COVID-19 is devastating Australian Sport, particularly community and club sports that rely on memberships, registrations and local sponsorships to keep the lights on. As most sports have come to a complete stop, we know that, many clubs will find it difficult to re-open.

The Australian Sports Foundation has launched a national campaign to help community clubs and organisations access funds to recover. were aiming to use our unique charitable and tax-deductible status to raise funds from the philanthropic community to help clubs in need - but to do this we need your help.

weve created a survey to understand the impact on your sport and the funding needed to help it recover, so we can build a case for support to put to the philanthropic community.

we have put together some assesrs for you to pass on to your members and clubs to help get the word out so that we can quantify the scale of the problem, and how best to support community sport get back on its feet when this is all over.
