Social media and online communication are powerful tools that when used effectively can help your club to achieve its goals and minimise the workload on volunteers.

This series is designed for club administrators, committee members or members who wish to help their club succeed through social media and online communication.  who would like to use social media and online communication to help their club, association or team achieve their goals and minimise the workload of volunteers.

For your convenience there are 2 separate booking opportunities to cater for different time and date availability.

 

Webinar Sessions in detail

Session 1: Unleashing the power of social media and comms at your club

Participants will learn:

  • What social media tools are available and what they allow clubs to do.  Including, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, youtube and soundcloud.
  • What online communication tools are available and what they allow clubs do.  Including, newsletter, email, apps, voip (skype), podcasts, websites.
  • How to use these tools to benefit your club.  Including, achieving goals, building an audience, building your club’s “brand”, reducing your volunteer work load and building a sense of belonging.

 

Session 2:   Making your club’s website awesome

Participants will learn:

  • Communication strategies
  • How to use their website to;
    • Inform and engage its visitors
    • Store important club operational and historical information
    • Significantly reduce volunteer work loads
    • Become a major source of revenue

 

Session 3: The power of facebook, twitter and social media

Participants will learn

  • How to Increase the size of the club’s audience,
  • How to create feeling a strong sense of belonging with the club.
  • How to engage future participants
  • How to support the delivery of club objectives
