Details (also see attached flyer below):
As you may be aware, 776BC is running a December training camp between 12th-14th of December. The camp is a great opportunity to connect the next generation athletes with Australia's Olympic rowers and this camp will have a focus on how to unlock your best 2km ergo time, as well as on-water technique.
Each day will have two on water sessions, as well as an ergo or HIIT session designed to increase the attendants anaerobic and aerobic capacity. We will also have both Sam Loch (1km ergo world record holder) & Josh Dunkley Smith (Australian 2km Record Holder) giving their tips and experience on how to best prepare for a 2km ergo from a training, nutritional and mental perspective. The camp will culminate in an Olympic Panel where will discuss through in a Q&A format all areas of athlete performance and the Rio experience. There is a flyer attached with further information.
Finally, each rower will leave the camp with an individual performance report, as well as a individualised plan designed based on their specific needs to achieve their best 2km.
It will be a great way to keep some of your athlete's focused during the Xmas break. If this is a good fit for your athletes it would be great to have them involved.
If you have any questions about the structure of the camp or about how it will be run, please feel free to either email or call me or Matt Ryan (0433 236 840) for further information.
