UMPIRES COMMISSION

The Umpires’ Commission has had a role in ensuring the volunteer umpire workforce runs regattas safely and fairly, at a range of different venues throughout Victoria, and in a range of different weather conditions. To do this it has recruited new umpires and improved the standard of education. RV umpires are recognised for their quality, and contain a number of Australian and International umpires in their ranks. The Commission is to provide counsel and support, answering to the CEO, ensuring safe and fair environments for competition are provided for all participants throughout the state.
