NATIONAL SELECTION SCHEDULE

STATE BASED ACTIVITY EVENTS PRIOR TO JUNIOR AUSTRALIAN TEAM SELECTION TRIALS

As per the Rowing Australia Event Requirement preamble for Under 23, Under 21 and Junior teams, the current Event Requirements are being updated. Until such time as the amended documents are released, those that appear here and on the Rowing Australia website and activities contained within, continue to be valid. Rowing Victoria will release an Expression of Interest link and Rowing Australia will release a nomination link once the updated documents have been approved and released.

PERFORMANCE AND BENCHMARK DATA

All athletes and coaches that are on the Victorian Rowing Pathway and are aspiring for Australian Rowing Team selection will benefit from knowing Rowing Australia's recommended paddling speeds for training (based on world best times); each should be striving to train, as often as possible, on these paddle speeds. 

They are included below for your reference (Male and Female: Junior, Under 23 (Lightweight and Heavyweight).
