Victorians competing in the Junior World Championships

Good Luck to our Victorian Athletes racing in Tokyo at the Junior World Championships!

This weekend we have Australian crews racing in Finals with 6 Victorian athletes in them at the Junior World Championships in Tokyo.

The athletes in the Women's Coxed four consist of Katie Easton (MLC), Teagan Blythe (Loreto-Ballarat), Olivia Moore (Geelong Grammar) Scarlett Hanna (MLC) and cox Goldie O'Gorman (MLC) with their coach Brigette Carlisle (Mercantile RC). This crew qualified for the A Final through the repechage on Friday morning coming 4th. To read more about their A Final race check out the race report here from Rwoing Australia. The A Final will be contested on Sunday morning. It will be live streamed on the World Rowing website here

Meanwhile in the Junior Men's Double Scull stroked by Harry Fox (MUBC) with Hamish Henriques (WARC) have qualified fastest for the Semi finals to be contested on Saturday morning. To read a race report from Rowing Australia about their heat click here  This crew will race on Saturday morning in the semi final needing to come in the top 3 to progress through to the A Final.
