Victorians Recognised - ROTY Awards

Rowing Australia (RA) has honoured its highest achievers, greatest contributors and most dedicated community members at its annual Hancock Prospecting Rower of the Year Awards. Rowing Victoria would like to congratulate all Victorian’s who received honours on the night.

The female Crew of the Year went to the Women’s Pair of Jess Morrison OAM and Annabelle McIntyre OAM, who won a Silver Medal at the World Rowing Championships and twin Gold Medals at the World Rowing Cups, while the Men’s Eight was Male Crew of the Year after an historic World Cup Gold followed by World Championships Bronze.

The Under 23 Men's Four, including three Victorians, was awarded the Pathways Crew of the Year following their Silver Medal performance at the Under 23 World Rowing Championships. Wendouree Ballarat's Jamie McDonald was recognised as the Pathways Coach of Year following his work with the Under 19 Women's Pair of Katie Jackson and Lucy Richardson.

The Honourable Patrick McNamara AM was also officially recognised as a Rowing Australia Life Member.
