There will be a Level 1 Good Coxswain Course to be held on the 8th of October at Footscray City Rowing Club from 4.30-6.30pm

All coxswains must be Level 1 accredited before coxing a rowing boat in Victoria.

Upon completion of the course, coxswains must complete an online assessment to gain accreditation.
There will then be an accreditation fee of $30 for each coxswain invoiced to clubs/schools unless otherwise stated.

Additional (although not compulsory) information and readings are available to download via our website. The Level 1 course draws substantially upon Chapters 1 - 6 of the Good Coxswain Booklets outlining the coxswain's role, a criteria for assessing coxing competence, basic safety considerations and responsibilities.
